Estimate factors??

We often get asked from people, "how much would it cost to remove a tree at "such" height, "such" size", without seeing the tree(s) in person...
Or oftentimes too, when we give someone an estimate in person, we'll be asked, "well my neighbor/friend/so&so had a tree removed before that was about the same size, why is the price so different??"

Factors. Many factors. Trees & jobs are like snowflakes... no two are exactly the same.
A few factors we go based off of when giving you an estimate:
🌲Size/height of tree(s)🌲
🌷Access to tree(s)🌷
-Is the tree in a fenced in area?
-Single gate or double gate access to get our equipment in & debris out?
🌺Plan of Removal/Prune/Stump Grind🌺
-Can we just fell the tree, do we need a climber in the tree, do we need to rig parts of the tree safely to the ground, do we need a manlift, do we need a crane?
-Will the job take a few hours, or the whole day
-Is there stone, edgers, or a mulch volcano around the base of the tree(s)
🌻Location of tree🌻
-Is the tree(s) near any sewage, electric, hardscape, etc.
-Is the tree(s) up/down an incline, close/far to where we'll be chipping it into our chip-truck, etc.
-Power/cable lines near tree(s)?
-Overhanging house/structures?
-Bordering neighbors property which may need their permission for us to use part of their yard/driveway?
-Any other obstacles that we may have to maneuver around such as pools, swing-setd, trampolines, RVs/Campers, boats, animal pastures, etc.
🪻Area to set-up our Chip-Truck with Chipper & Secondary Truck with Trailer & Equipment
-Do we need to park on the road, side street, back into driveway/yard?🪻
-Do we need to block off part of the road or the whole street (which may require a permit)
🌸And sooo many more.🌸
